In Emilia-Romagna, the heart of Italian vinegar tradition, this Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP is created at Acetaia Leonardi. It is based on carefully selected organic grapes, from which both cooked grape must and wine vinegar are obtained. Both components mature together for at least 50 days in wooden barrels, developing a balanced sweet-sour interplay with a clear, harmonious structure.

The balsamic vinegar tastes fresh and balanced with a pleasant sweetness, delicate acidity, and a clean, uncluttered aroma. Its light, flowing texture makes it particularly versatile – ideal for salads, cooked vegetables, marinades, or as a subtle seasoning in the kitchen.

Acetaia Leonardi looks back on a long history: Founded in the 18th century, the agricultural estate has been fully dedicated to the production of Aceto Balsamico since the 19th century. Primarily its own grapes from the Modena region, including Trebbiano and Lambrusco, are processed. All production steps – from harvesting to aging – take place directly on site, creating a closed production cycle. This interplay of origin, experience, and artisanal continuity continues to shape the character of the vinegars today.
