Potzinger Sauvignon Blanc Ried Czamillonberg DAC 2021 – Südsteiermark
The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Ried Czamillonberg DAC from the family winery Stefan Potzinger comes from the renowned wine region of Südsteiermark. The Czamillonberg site – facing south – gives the wine a fine maturity and elegant structure. It is traditionally and selectively aged in stainless steel, which perfectly highlights the character of the grape variety.
The nose reveals delicate tropical fruit notes, a hint of mango and herbal spice. On the palate, the wine is elegant and juicy, with a fine acid structure, minerality, and a long, fresh finish – stylistically reminiscent of a Chablis Grand Cru.
An expressive, nuanced white wine – excellent with seafood, pasta with pesto, fish or white poultry. A real insider tip from Styria for lovers of characterful Sauvignon Blancs.
